haybale.io is a free browser game. By playing it you agree to these terms. They are meant to be readable, not clever.
The game
You may play as much as you like, for free, for fun, at home or at work. No account is needed and nothing is for sale.
Play fairly
Please do not:
- modify the game client, script it, or automate play in order to gain an advantage over other players;
- attack or overload the servers, or try to break into them;
- choose a nickname that is hateful, obscene, or that impersonates someone else. Names are visible to everyone, so we may remove a name or block a player who abuses that.
If you break these, we may block your access. There is no appeal process; it is a small game.
What you make
Screenshots, pictures of your run and videos of your play are yours — post them anywhere you like, including monetised channels. The game itself, its code and its artwork remain ours.
No warranty
The game is provided as it is. Servers may be restarted, worlds may be reset and rounds may be lost — a run is not a possession, and records are kept only in your own browser. We do not promise that the game will always be available or free of faults.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from playing the game. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Playing elsewhere
If you are playing on a games portal that hosts haybale.io, that portal's own terms also apply to your use of their site.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top will say when. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
